Last updated: March 2026

1. Who we are

BiSkilled ("we", "us", "our") is a technology consulting company based in North London, United Kingdom. We provide AI, software development, blockchain and cloud infrastructure services to businesses.

Data controller: Tal Shany, BiSkilled
Contact: info@biskilled.com
Website: biskilled.com

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us. This includes:

  • Contact information — your name, email address, phone number and business name when you submit our contact form or get in touch directly
  • Communication data — messages you send us via email, WhatsApp, or our website contact form
  • Usage data — standard website analytics including pages visited, time on site, and browser type (collected via anonymised analytics tools)
  • Business information — details about your business that you choose to share when discussing a project

We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health data, financial details, or government identifiers) unless specifically required for a project we are delivering for you, in which case a separate data processing agreement will be put in place.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and arrange discovery calls
  • Communicate with you about ongoing projects
  • Send you relevant information about our services (only if you have opted in or have an existing relationship with us)
  • Improve our website and services using anonymised analytics
  • Meet our legal and contractual obligations

We will never sell your personal data to third parties, use it for purposes unrelated to our business relationship, or share it with advertisers.

4. Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries and maintaining business relationships
  • Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver services you have engaged us for
  • Consent — where you have explicitly opted in to receive marketing communications
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with UK law

5. WhatsApp and messaging

If you contact us via WhatsApp or our WhatsApp bot, your message and phone number will be stored in our CRM system (Zoho CRM) to manage our communication with you. By initiating contact via WhatsApp, you consent to your message being stored for this purpose.

We use WhatsApp Business API in compliance with Meta's Business Messaging Policy. We will only send you messages related to your enquiry or our ongoing business relationship.

6. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

  • Contact and CRM data is held in Zoho CRM, which is GDPR-compliant and ISO 27001 certified
  • Website enquiries are processed via our contact form with reCAPTCHA (Google) to prevent spam
  • We retain contact enquiry data for up to 3 years unless you ask us to delete it sooner
  • Project-related data is retained for the duration of our engagement plus 2 years for legal purposes

7. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services which may process data on our behalf:

  • Zoho CRM — customer relationship management and communication storage
  • Google reCAPTCHA — spam prevention on our contact form
  • Meta / WhatsApp Business API — WhatsApp messaging
  • Google Analytics (anonymised) — website traffic analysis

Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We have reviewed each to ensure GDPR compliance.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Right to data portability — request your data in a portable format
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Right to withdraw consent — withdraw marketing consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@biskilled.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies:

  • Essential cookies — required for the website to function (e.g. form submission)
  • Analytics cookies — anonymised usage data via Google Analytics (you can opt out via your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools)

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Significant changes will be communicated to active clients directly.

11. Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your data, please contact us first at info@biskilled.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
